With another month in the books, it’s time to take another look at my weight loss chart. I’ve got a good bit more data than I did back in February, so we can now look at progress across an entire month.
As you can see, I lost weight fairly consistently throughout the month of March. In fact, if it weren’t for that pesky cruise (and associated vacation weight gain) in early March, it would’ve been an all green month.
According to the math at the bottom of the chart, you can see that I lost an average of 0.66 pounds per week, corresponding to a daily deficit of 332 calories. Not too shabby, especially for a guy who doesn’t explicitly count calories.
All in all, I attribute my success thus far to a combination of exercise and eating right (or at least eating better). Now that I’ve got things headed in the right direction, the key from here on out will be to simply stick to the program.
