This site isn’t dead, and neither am I. After a lengthy hiatus as well as a good bit of soul searching, Fit36 is back, and I’ve made some changes. If you’re new here, then welcome. If not, then welcome back. Curious? Read on for details…
For those that haven’t been paying attention, this site has been largely dormant for the past fifteen or so months. It was even offline for awhile during that time period. Why? Well…
Aside from being busy (aren’t we all?), I just wasn’t “feeling it” with the old site. My original vision was for this site to be an online workout journal, but writing those sorts of entries was downright boring, and I quickly lost interest.
Going forward, I’ve decided to run this site much as I’ve run my other sites. While I’ll still be weaving personal stories into the articles whenever possible, my focus will be on sharing interesting health/fitness tidbits as opposed to detailed personal updates.
As far as visible changes go, I’ve streamlined the site using the “Thesis” Wordpress theme. I’ve also gone back and removed the most boring/tedious personal updates (not actually necessary, but quite cathartic), and have re-committed myself to updating the content regularly.
While I won’t be adhering to a strict posting schedule, I will be publishing new content on a more regular basis. If you’re not currently a subscriber, I encourage you to either grab my RSS feed, or sign up to receive my content via e-mail.
