Week Two of the C25K running program is behind us (here’s my recap), so it’s now time to turn our attention to Week Three. Hopefully you’re still on track and ready to move forward with Week Three – I sure am!
Once again, all three days will look identical. The total running time is the same as last week, but we’ll be tackling a couple of longer (3 min) stretches of running.
Here’s the plan:
- Start with a brisk 5 minute walk to warmup, followed by…
- Jog 200 yards or 90 seconds
- Walk 200 yards or 90 seconds
- Jog 400 yards or 3 min
- Walk 400 yards or 3 min
- Repeat the above jog/walk, jog/walk one more time
- End with 5 more minutes of walking to warm down
