dale: Yeah, I'll re-evaluate as I go. 210 may be too low indeed for my build. I haven't been that light since high school, when I was struggling to *gain* weight for football.

I'm not a fan of the BMI or any of those metrics that attempts to categorize people. I'm 6'3 and around 250. I would look a lot better at 230, but I work out regularly and am far from obese, yet several of the tables that attempt to classify you by height and weight put me in that category.

6'5 and 210 sounds really lean, but I don't know how big of a frame you have. I'm wide and thick around the chest and shoulders from lifting weights in my youth, 210 on my frame would be too lean. It may be great for you....

I guess we all have to look in the mirror AND look at the scale.

Keep up the good work! It is a slow process but once you get there and look back you will see its all worth it.

I started out at 212 and am now at 178. My goal is 160. Day by day I work off just a little bit at a time.

Sounds to me like you have sensible goals and a sensible attitude.
