And I agree. I&#039;d much rather have it underestimate than overestimate when it comes to training runs.</description>

I&#039;ve also noticed that RunKeeper doesn&#039;t do polling intervals that are as granular as my Garmin GPS [Forerunner 301].  In a way, this is actually nice, because Garmin can overestimate distance due the extra jaggedness in the course tracking.  My impression is that RunKeeper may slightly underestimate distance.  For training purposes, I prefer the underestimation of performance.</description>
